Leonardo González López serves as Chief Financial Officer of International Hospital Corporation, leading the corporation’s international finance and IT practices. He joined IHC in 2007 as Director of Finance at Hospital CIMA Hermosillo in Mexico and later led the company’s regional finance function for Mexican operations before being appointed CFO in 2017.
Prior to joining IHC, Leonardo served with world leading institutions such as KPMG and Citigroup in the financial services industry, as well as with Private Equity owned companies in the manufacturing industry, doing business across North and Latin America and Europe. His responsibilities have included leadership roles in international management, strategy development, transactions structuring and execution, financial management, investment advisory, global accounting, and operations turnaround, among others.
He holds an MBA in International Management and Global Finance from Thunderbird, The School of Global Management, and a BS in Accounting and Finance from “Tecnológico de Monterrey” (ITESM) in Mexico. He participates in various civic and charitable organizations, and he is fluent in Spanish and English, and proficient in Portuguese and Bulgarian.
